Anjali: Knowing my own truth and being able to speak about it. I am thankful to my hard times because it made me stronger and made me aware of my own capabilities.

Anjali: Love to me is to feel comfort not in a place but a person, it is about partnership, companionship and seeking true joy in each other’s presence, company and existence itself.

Anjali: I had the longest crush on Manauti, my sisters and close friends knew about it. But when we started dating, that was the time when I came out to my parents, wouldn’t call it a challenging experience.

We did not face many challenges in terms of our relationship, rather, our friends and family have been of great support, can’t thank them enough but individually being from the LGBTQ community, we have faced resistance based on the belief that the way we are, is not right and it is a phase and will pass.
