Gaurav Gupta showcased another planetary collection to end day four at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI presented by NEXA. The collection is inspired by the infinity of the cosmos. An extra-terrestrial another planetary zone; travelling through space and galaxies. It inspired our infinite shapes, galactic-meteoric burst embroideries, and comet-like construction. And the cosmic colours, almost celestial, like the blackness of space, Jupiter gold, galactic lava grey and space teal. We were extremely playful with menswear which again drew inspiration from astrology and astronomy—sharp embroideries and cuts. An abstract interpretation of how a new world would look like.
